Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc. (QCAP) is the leading private nonprofit organization in the Greater Quincy area dedicated to reducing poverty and helping low-income people achieve self-sufficiency. QCAP was incorporated in 1965 and is one of 24 Community Action Agencies in Massachusetts. QCAP serves approximately 23,000 unduplicated people annually. Our service area includes Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, Milton, Hull and surrounding Norfolk County and South Shore Communities.

QCAP'S FREE TAX HELP PROGRAM ADDS SUMMER HOURS

QCAP is extending its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program into the summer. Low-income taxpayers who need to complete and file their 2007 and 2008 tax returns may be eligible for help from an IRS Certified Tax Volunteer. This service is being offered by appointment only.
