Adult Education and Workforce Development

ESL classEducation is a key to securing employment that pays a living wage and opening the door to self-sufficiency. Adults entering the workforce for the first time or those reentering the workforce after time off need to acquire skills and knowledge that will help set them on a career path. QCAP offers a variety of workforce development activities that will help adults obtain the education and skills they need to secure jobs that will enable them to support their families and lead to long-term economic self-sufficiency.


 

QCAP Offers Free ESOL Evening Classes

Quincy Community Action Programs' (QCAP) Adult Basic Education Program is offering free English as a Second Language (ESOL) classes, starting January 17, 2012.

Level One is Mondays and Wednesdays. Level Two is Tuesdays and Thursdays. All classes are 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. and will be held at QCAP, 1509 Hancock Street (Fourth Floor), Quincy, MA 02169.

Classes are free through the Massachusetts Department of Education and the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley.
