Tenant & Landlord Services

Housing First Counseling

Housing should be available to all members of our community. Tenants and landlords need to know about their rights and responsibilities to avoid costly disputes and insure successful tenancies. QCAP provides a number of Housing Counseling Services including:

• Tenant workshops and individual counseling
• Information about lead paint laws and sanitation codes
• Mediation services to help resolve disputes
• Budget and credit counseling
• Referrals to legal assistance
• Limited emergency rental assistance

Housing Search

QCAP’s Housing staff works with eligible families that are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless to help them find safe, permanent housing.

Monthly housing search workshops are held for anyone at risk of homelessness. To learn more and to register, please call (617) 479-8181 x319.

QCAP staff also provide housing search assistance, referral to resources, counseling and stabilization support services to families to help them maintain their tenancy after their crisis is resolved.

Landlord Workshops
