Through public and private partnerships we endeavor to assist families and individuals in our communities to improve the quality of their lives by minimizing the effects of poverty, promoting self-sufficiency and advocating for social change.

Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc. (QCAP) is a progressive and dynamic organization recognized as the leading human services provider responding to the changing needs of the community.
We strive to be effective advocates and to build community partnerships that enhance our mission. We are poised to increase our visibility in the community and to diversify our funding base in order to effectively serve our clients and the community.
We serve our clients with the highest respect that fosters their strengths, supports their growth, encourages their civic participation and advocacy for services and welcomes them as part of the community. We find answers for our clients, and endeavor to deliver them tangible results to the best of our ability within the current strained economic environment. We offer clients opportunities for economic self-sufficiency, and support both those who can and cannot reach this goal to live decently and with dignity.
We recognize our employees as our greatest asset, and support their professional growth and development so they are ready to respond to the shifting demands of our profession and the changing needs of our clients in an environment when resources to meet client needs are scarce.
