Vision Statement 2009-2011
Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc. (QCAP) continues to be committed to significantly reducing poverty by fostering and enhancing self-sufficiency and creating economic opportunity. Our vision for this community and our organization includes:
- Becoming more visible and accessible so that we are viewed as the go-to resource for people in need in our communities.
- Enhancing our Service Delivery System in order to reduce intake duplication, assess our clients' strengths and needs, connect them to all available resources, and support them to set and achieve goals that will lead to self-sufficiency.
- Establishing and implementing a professional development approach whereby all staff are equipped and ready to effectively serve low-income people in a manner that considers the whole family or client unit and builds upon their strengths.
- Strengthening community partnerships that will help us better serve the community and our clients. Revisit inter-agency agreements and reinvigorate our community partnerships. Engage partners to foster our mission and help more low-income families achieve self-sufficiency.
- Remain adaptable and agile as an organization. Be proactive about changing our service delivery structure to respond to our clients needs and to continuously improve upon our quality.
