Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc. (QCAP) is a leading non-profit organization in the Greater Quincy area dedicated to helping low and moderate-income people improve the quality of their lives and achieve self-sufficiency. QCAP was established in 1965 as one of Massachusetts’ 24 Community Action Agencies (CAAs). QCAP is a multi-service agency that assists over 23,000 unduplicated people annually. Our service area includes our core communities of Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, Milton, Hull, as well as cities and towns in Norfolk County and South Shore Communities. (For individuals and families outside of this area, find the Community Action Agency nearest to you at Massachusetts Association for Community Action - MASSCAP.)
Many people come to QCAP for only a single service to help them through a difficult time. Others find they need multiple services in order to get on their feet. Whatever the need, QCAP staff serves people in a caring and professional manner that preserves dignity and encourages individuals to reach their greatest potential.
