Parent Child Home Program
Quincy’s PCHP is a home-based parenting, early literacy, and school readiness program designed to help strengthen verbal interaction and educational play between parents and young children. In collaboration with the City of Quincy’s Commission on the Family, home visitors model reading and other activities to promote verbal interaction, using carefully chosen toys and books for children 18 months to pre-kindergarten age. Home visitors model behavior and interaction to show that learning can be fun.
