The lack of adequate income and the high cost of living make it difficult and sometimes impossible for low-income people to purchase the nutritious food they need. Children and the elderly are especially vulnerable to the consequences of poor nutrition. QCAP helps families and individuals with limited resources by providing emergency food, help applying for Food Stamps and by promoting nutrition awareness and developing community support for hunger programs.
