Cities/Towns Served: Belmont, Braintree, Canton, Cohasset, Dedham, Dover, Hingham, Hull, Milton, Needham, Newton, Norwood, Quincy, Randolph, Waltham, Watertown, Wellesley, Weston, Westwood, and Weymouth.

Community Care for Kids (CCK) is the child care resource and referral program serving the EEC Metro Boston Region. The program consists of several components designed to help families make educated child care choices, improve the affordability of child care for income eligible families, and increase the quality and availability of child care services. Referral and support is available to child care providers as well.

Services provided through CCK include:

Family Resources

  • Information and Referral: Find out about early education and care opportunities in your area. This service is available for families of all income levels. We can provide you with a customized list of child education and care providers based on your family’s individual needs. Information on how to select a quality provider is also available.
  • Child Care Subsidies: CCK provides child care subsidies that help income eligible families pay for the cost of child care. Click here to access a list of early education and care programs in CCK’s region that accept vouchers.

Provider Resources

Child care professionals or those interested in entering the field can access referrals to a variety of low cost training and support programs.

Professional development opportunities are available to help child care professionals progress through the early childhood career ladder/QRIS and include coaching and mentoring services, workshops, and college level courses. Click here to access professional development opportunities.
