QCAP offers a range of Energy Programs that help people save money on their heating costs. The Heating Assistance program helps households by paying a portion of their annual winter heating costs. Energy conservation services help with home improvements that improve efficiency and lower household heating costs. QCAP’s Energy Program serves the towns of Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, and Milton.
No matter what type of heating system you have, QCAP’s Heating Assistance program can help you pay your winter heating bills. This can include helping tenants with heat included in their rent. The program helps with heating costs for the months of November through April. We make payments right to your heating company up to a maximum benefit level.
New applicants may apply by calling QCAP’s Energy Program for an appointment at 617-657-5301. Returning customers will receive their applications in the mail. Heating assistance is for low-income households in the towns of Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, and Milton with incomes at or below 60% of the estimated state median income.
