Quincy Lead Abatement Program
Whether you’re a homeowner, tenant, or landlord, Quincy Office of Healthy Homes can help you reduce the dangers of lead and other hazards in your home with the South Shore Healthy Homes Program (SSHHP).
SSHHP provides up to $20,000 in assistance per unit, in the form of a 5-year forgivable loan including a $1,000 temporary relocation grant and the supports and resources you need to make your home lead safe.
Do you qualify?
If your home was built before 1978 and a child under 6-years-old lives or regularly stays there, and occupants’ incomes are within the HUD limit, you may be eligible.
How do you apply?
QCAP is helping to connect Quincy residents to the Quincy Office of Healthy Homes. If you are interested in learning more about SSHHP and applying, please contact Sue Keenan at skeenan@qcap.org or call her at QCAP at 617-657-5313.
